The Ria program is delivered through telehealth and partners with Remote Clinical and Coaching Team Members to provide clinical expertise and manage care and outcomes for Ria Health members.

Work as our Director of Compliance

The Director of Compliance will, in collaboration with and while reporting to the Chief Compliance & Technology Officer, develop and implement regulatory compliance strategies and ensure the organization is in compliance with regulatory industry standards. This role will work closely with all business teams including medical, coaching operations, technology product development, marketing, finance, human resources, and other corporate teams.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as an objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization
  • Develop, execute, and manage regulatory virtual healthcare compliance strategies, processes, and procedures
  • Create, implement, manage, and review regulatory compliance tools, training, documentation, initiatives, and policies to ensure the organization complies with industry, federal, state, local and other standards, regulations, and laws
  • Stay current and updated on new and changing federal/state/local regulations impacting the organization
  • Develop and lead organization-wide training sessions to effectively communicate and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Perform regulatory compliance audits, draft reports, communicate findings and recommendations
  • Follow new and upcoming regulatory rules and requirements to ensure organization is compliant throughout all processes, procedures, and teams
  • Provide compliance matter expertise regarding regulatory requirements impacting the organization
  • Serve as the Point of Contact within the organization for compliance related matters

Preferred and Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required/Master’s degree or J.D. is preferred
  • 2+ years of regulatory healthcare compliance experience is required
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, investigative, communicative skills are required
  • Extensive experience within and knowledge of health care industry regulations and governing laws
  • Experience in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment (ideally a healthcare-tech start-up)
  • Solutions-focused, progressive thinker passionate about the mission of Ria Health

As a center of excellence in treating alcohol misuse, Ria Health has been enlisted to rapidly provide care to people across the United States, which will require additional care team members. We seek care team members who are motivated to provide high quality, patient-centered, evidence-based care in a telemedicine setting.
