Isaiah Cruz is a Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary care, hospice, addiction treatment, and telemedicine. He has a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and has worked in the medical field for over a decade. He is licensed to practice in nine states, and joined Ria as a Nurse Practitioner in 2020.
Isaiah began his medical career as a licensed practical nurse in 2009, before getting his RN certification in 2012. He quickly found his calling in the ER and ICU, assisting critically ill patients at Defiance Regional Hospital in Ohio. After getting his FNP degree in 2016, Isaiah began working in outpatient addiction care, prescribing medications and counseling patients both in-person and through telemedicine.
In addition to his work in addiction recovery, Isaiah has continued to work in several other branches of the medical field, including hospice care and direct-to-consumer telemedicine. From 2017 to 2019 he was also a volunteer nurse practitioner at a free clinic in Fort Wayne, Indiana, providing primary care to individuals without insurance. He is currently enrolled in a post-graduate program to earn his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification.
Outside of his work life, Isaiah is married with four daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys weight lifting, kayaking, music, and playing video games with his kids.
