About Micah Hale, DO

Dr. Micah Hale is a licensed osteopath and family physician, with nearly two decades of experience in both urban and rural ER care. He is licensed to practice medicine in 26 states, and suboxone certified for alcohol and opioid treatment. He joined the Ria medical team as a physician in 2021.

Dr. Hale completed his family medicine residency at Oklahoma University-Tulsa in 2001, and quickly gained broad experience in emergency care through placements in multiple hospitals throughout the state of Oklahoma. During this period he also founded his own company, Medicine Man Inc, providing staffing and ER medicine at several medical centers in his home state.

After working in urgent and emergency care in California for several years, Dr. Hale settled in Arizona, serving as chair of the Pharmaceutic and Therapeutic Committee at Havasu Regional Medical Center, and becoming a partner at Tizon Emergency Medicine. He then moved on to Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital, serving as chief of medical staff for two years before joining Ria.

In addition to his work with Ria Health, Dr. Hale is currently medical director of several mobile IV hydration companies based in Tulsa and San Francisco. He also serves as medical director of an urgent care provider in Pheonix, Arizona, and is partial owner of two other medical businesses.

When not at work, Dr. Hale enjoys cooking, all things automotive, family time, and farm life.
