About Laura Vincent

Laura Vincent is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and RADT (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician). She has a master’s degree in integrative health studies, and is experienced in a range of practices, including yoga, nutrition, and mental health. She has been coaching since 2015 and is currently pursuing her CADC II (Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor).

Having struggled with her own relationship to alcohol, Laura brings a deep sense of empathy to her counseling career. She has worked in a variety of contexts, including residential rehab facilities, and family counseling services. She’s also worked with a wide array of different populations, including people of color, the LGBTQ community, and other underserved communities in the Bay Area.

As a coach, Laura is experienced in both motivational interviewing and SMART goal setting. She practices active listening, asks open-ended questions, and seeks to empower her clients toward greater self-knowledge and control. This includes helping them identify drinking triggers and develop new stress management and coping skills. Above all, she helps her clients keep a positive outlook, while staying accountable to themselves and their goals.

Laura is passionate about helping others live their healthiest and feel their best. As a member of the Ria Health team, Laura puts her knowledge to use digitally, offering support to members wherever they may be.
